Due to the certified accuracy, HAENNI scales are used by Metrology Institutes for the certification of WIM systems for the calibration of reference weights or reference vehicles.  They are also useful in other situations where the environmental conditions limit the use of other weighing devices, like in a silo, for instance.

HAENNI scales can be used in different fields of R&D:

• To conduct relevant tests to grant approval for newly developed vehicles  
• Calibration of machines for pavement endurance tests
• Research projects for new materials for road construction
• Long-term studies to analyze the damages to the asphalt
• Measurements of wheel loads for development  and optimization of special vehicles 

Prevention is cheaper than cure. The investment in a HAENNI portable weighing system is negligible when compared with the huge amounts spent to repair the road network. Further, the resources obtained with tolling  will never cover the costs to repair the road damages caused by overloaded vehicles. It is therefore very important to stop the overloaded trucks and impede driving further.

A minimal system with mechanical scales, with a very simple and fast setup. The wheels loads are displayed on the scale's dial.

Mobile weighing system with three (or more) scales seamlessly connected, to weigh vehicles of any width. It can be static or dynamic until 20 km/h, with possibility to print out the results. The connections are made with cables only.

A complete system for measuring, processing and printing wheel and axle loads, sub total and total weights of vehicles. The connection can be done with cables or wireless.
